The Alberta Hunan Fellow Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving Hunan-born Chinese citizens and overseas Chinese in Alberta. With the mission of "unity and mutual assistance, promoting exchange, and seeking development together," the association aims to provide support and assistance to fellow Hunan residents, facilitating their adaptation to life and work in Canada.
The association will organize various cultural, educational, business, and social events to strengthen connections and friendships among Hunan compatriots while actively promoting Hunan culture and fostering cultural exchange between China and Canada.
Regular activities will include holiday celebrations, public welfare events, professional lectures, and business forums, providing a platform for mutual support among Hunan individuals in Canada and guiding new immigrants in integrating into Canadian society. Through collaboration with various Chinese organizations, mainstream Canadian society, and the governments of both countries, the Alberta Hunan Fellow Association will actively participate in public welfare initiatives and promote exchanges and cooperation in culture, economy, and education, serving as a bridge to enhance friendly relations between China and Canada.

The gatherings typically have a relaxed and warm atmosphere, allowing participants to reconnect with their hometown culture through chatting, dining, and cultural performances, while also making new friends and enhancing mutual support.
We extend our gratitude to the Edmonton Hunan Fellow Association for the various gatherings and assistance it has provided to our community over the past decade.
To celebrate the official establishment of the Alberta Hunan Association, we will hold our inaugural celebration and performance on November 10, 2024, from 2 to 5 PM.
